December Long Weekend in Cortelazor


Activities at Plaza de Andalucía and Plaza del Olmo

Cortelazor is once again preparing to celebrate a December long weekend full of activities, solidarity, and a festive Christmas atmosphere. On December 6 and 7, Plaza de Andalucía and Plaza del Olmo will become the gathering point for both residents and visitors.

December 6 · Plaza de Andalucía

Starting at 5:00 p.m., an afternoon full of activities for all ages will begin.

III Solidarity Market of Crafts and Second-Hand Items

From 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Plaza del Olmo will host the third edition of the Solidarity Market, a space where artisans and neighbors can offer handmade items and second-hand goods. This market helps support the care and feeding of the village’s cat colonies.

Buñuelos with hot chocolate

Prepared to raise funds for the Coronada Brotherhood.

Flamenco Zambomba Carita Divina

A live performance with traditional Christmas songs to fill the evening with festive spirit.

Christmas lighting ceremony

Official switching-on of the Christmas lights, accompanied by artificial snow to welcome the holiday season.


December 7 · Plaza de Andalucía

Sweets in support of the Remedios Brotherhood

From 4:00 p.m., various traditional sweets will be available, with proceeds benefiting the Remedios Brotherhood.

Mass and procession

At 6:00 p.m., a mass in honor of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception will be held. Afterwards, the procession will take place through the streets of the village.
