Pilgrimage in Honor of Nuestra Señora de la Coronada 2026

From May 6th to 10th, Cortelazor la Real celebrates in honor of its patron saint, Our Lady of the Coronada. Five days full of devotion, tradition, and joy, culminating on Sunday with the long-awaited pilgrimage (Romería).

Below is the full schedule of events:

Wednesday, May 6th

8:30 PM First triduum mass and floral offering to Our Lady of the Coronada.

Thursday, May 7th

8:30 PM Second triduum mass and Proclamation (Pregón) delivered by Elisabel Pérez Gómez.

Friday, May 8th

8:30 PM Third triduum mass and ceremonial handover of the Mayordomo staff:

• Outgoing: Ana Sánchez Sánchez
• Incoming: Begoña Vázquez Sánchez

The mass will be sung by the group "Familia González" from Los Marines.

Saturday, May 9th

10:00 PM Holy Rosary to the Blessed Virgin of the Coronada.

Sunday, May 10th

7:30 AM Fireworks salute and traditional morning music (“Alegre Diana”) led by the drummer Félix de Carboneras.

8:00 AM Departure of the Simpecado towards the Hermitage, accompanied by the band Grupo del Cerro. A minute of silence will be observed when passing by the cemetery.

12:00 PM Arrival of the Simpecado at the Hermitage and welcome of visiting brotherhoods.

1:00 PM Pilgrimage Mass officiated by parish administrator Eliécer López Cardona, with music by the choir Ntra. Sra. de la Fuente. Afterwards, procession of the Blessed Virgin.

6:30 PM Return of the Simpecado to the village.

10:00 PM DJ party at Plaza de Andalucía.
